A LITTLE ABOUT ME
When I first started out I was so scared that I didn't sing in front of an audience until I started singing songs that really had a meaning for me - so I went for it - have fear and do it anyway - and hoped that the earth would not open and suck me down. After years of trial and error, failures, extreme stage fright and lot`s of practice - NEVER GIVING UP!
NOW I am an International Jazz Singer and Vocal Coach. I come from Canada but live in Germany. I studied classical voice and Jazz vocal and so am able to use the techniques of both worlds.
I fell in love with jazz when I met Dizzy Gillespie in 1986 and his music and started studying jazz- Dizzy Gillespie became a huge influence and mentor in my life. I went on to tour all over the world and had the honor and joy of accompanying Dizzy to East Berlin, Czechoslovakia and Russia.
I have always loved encouraging people with their singing and did a training as a Louise Hay Motivational Coach. This led me to go even deeper in the personal development. Then mindset is 95% and the strategy is 5%. Hard to believe but true.
I teach professionals also as well as beginners and hobby singers. I love to see how I am able to inspire and encourage people to believe in themselves and become more confident through singing.
